Usedful is one of the biggest worldwide sellers of second-hand professional audiovisual equipment. We have over 30 years of experience in the industry and have managed to build a huge list of contacts. These include distributors, manufacturers and rental companies that frequently act as buyers or sellers. We are confident we have the best prices in the world for numerous items, so do not hesitate to contact us if there’s anything we can do for you.

Early days

We funded Usedful in 2012 in Manchester, UK. At the time, the only two employees (who worked from home) were the owners; Giannis and Zlatan. A year later, we moved to London, where we also hired our first employees.

The beginning

In August 2015, we moved to our first office – warehouse, a 20 square metres facility in Park Royal. At the same time, we had 4 employees working full time. In 2016 we moved to a second office – warehouse in the same building, but this time it was 60 square metres and hired 2 more employees bringing the total number to 6. The following year was very successful for us as we once again had to move to a new office -warehouse in Hayes which is 200 square metres. Additionally, our employee count was now at 12.

Post-Brexit

After the UK voted to leave the EU in 2016, we considered our options and decided to establish a new company in the EU. Eventually, Brexit led to the creation of Usedful Europe SRL, which is based in Piatra Neamt, Romania.

Nowadays

In 2020, we moved our headquarters to Romania once the UK had officially departed the EU. Our current office – warehouse there is 1500 square metres. We currently have over 25 employees, most of them located in Romania. We still have personnel in London along with Athens, Greece.

Future plans

Our plans include further expansion in the North and Central American as well as Eastern Asia markets. We shall still follow our business model of establishing new companies in these regions.
